Good morning. I know everyone’s thoughts are on the virus. Schools are out, businesses shut down, people are fearful. We as children of God with insight to the plan of God are not to be fearful but to be prepared. We have spent years in church listening to message after message.
In Mt. 25 Jesus gave a parable of five wise and five foolish virgins. How do you know which category you fit in? How you are responding to this world situation determines that. Are you fearful? Why? If you have oil(knowledge) in your lamp then there isn’t anything to worry about. We know that there will be times like this.
The reason people are hording things today is because they are shy of oil. We are to be vigilant and follow the guidelines layed out for us but not be fearful.
This is the time to be awake and prayerful. Pr.23:23 Buy the truth and sell it not. Fear destroys truth in an individual. Truth is to triumph over fear. THIS IS THE DAY THE LORD HATH MADE. If he made it then let us rejoice.
