Coming Out

God is the one who created the coming out movement thousands of years ago. It isn’t a modern day term. Let’s look at some of those who came out.

Start with Abraham: Gen. 11:31 And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son’s son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram’s wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there. ABRAHAM CAME OUT.

The children of Israel: Ex. 12:40  Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.

Ex. 12:51 And it came to pass the selfsame day, that the LORD did bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies. THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL CAME OUT.

Daniel was thrown in the lions den: Dan. 6:16 Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.

Dan. 6:23  My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt. DANIEL CAME OUT.

Lazarus died and was buried. Jn. 11:14 Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.

Jn. 11:43-44 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.

⁴⁴ And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go. LAZARUS CAME OUT.

Jesus and the Old Testament saints resurrected: Mt. 27:52-53 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

⁵³ And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. JESUS AND THE SAINTS CAME OUT.

Many bound in religion: Rev. 18:4  And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. MANY OF YOU CAME OUT.

The church: Song of Solomon 8:4 Who is this that cometh up from the wilderness, leaning upon her beloved? I raised thee up under the apple tree: there thy mother brought thee forth: there she brought thee forth that bare thee. THE CHURCH CAME OUT.

Now with all of this evidence of God bringing his people out, What do we have to fear? We are to rejoice in adversity knowing that a COMMING OUT PARTY FOLLOWS.
